This unique and unusual concept of exhibition, designed and conceived by Massimiliano Siccardi, opened the door to visitors in 2017. Since then, the exhibition has attracted more than 5 million visitors! One of the reasons for this is its rich content. This exhibition is suitable for a wide audience, including families, school groups, couples, and seniors. It welcomes guests of all ages, especially children, whose interest in art needs to be encouraged. In addition to a spacious central area where Van Gogh’s works stretch floor-to-ceiling, the experience includes separate galleries that chronicle his life, technique, and influence through informative panels, larger than life re-creations, and engaging interactives. Modern exhibition also features a one of a kind Virtual Reality interactive, which guides you on a ten-minute journey through “A day in the life of the Artist.” Walk alongside Van Gogh during this peaceful, visually rich journey to discover the inspiration behind eight of his iconic works, including: Vincent’s Bedroom at Arles, and Starry Night Over The Rhone River.
Even though the exhibition was custom-designed for Chicago’s Germania Club, since its opening it has traveled all over the world, including the main USA states, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Israel, and China. This concept of the exhibition did not go unnoticed and was appreciated in the world as it was awarded as the best immersive experience by USA in 2021 and ranked among the 12 best immersive experiences in the world.
